Hi, My name is Sue and my Uncle Phil and I live at Currawong Farm. This is a 5 acre hobby farm, nestled into the idyllic country setting of the Perth Hills. We offer a casual and relaxed farm stay environment, with comfortable cottage-chic rooms, complimentary continental breakfast, hearty country breakfasts available to order and delicious options for morning and afternoon teas or a light lunch. Home-cooked evening meals available through prior arrangement.
You and your family can have fun petting and grooming my stunningly beautiful Haflinger horses, feeding chickens and collecting eggs, or just chilling out on the shady verandah and enjoying the serenity of the view. Watch the pink & grey galahs forage at your feet, listen to the 28’s call as they fly overhead and keep an eye out for the rare and endangered Carnaby’s Black Cockatoos as they swoop in for one of their frequent visits.
The property is within walking distance of the Chidlow town centre (Tavern and Bakery), close to the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, and only minutes from Lake Leschenaultia. With so much to see and do, you won’t want to leave your new home away from home!
